Subject: Lost all my custom categories when updating to DAZ Studio 4.9

I updated from 4.8 to 4.9 earlier today. When I opened it, all my custom categories were gone. The choices of categories were weird. Fortunately, I was able to put back a back up. Has anyone else experienced this? I am on a PC with windows 7 64 bit.

I believe it has happened a bit. There was a new lost and found category too which I didn't know I had lost them until the update. When I did it I found it took a while to settle down and put things in order. I would open Daz and see the exclamation mark with no image etc on a product I have had for years but found it was just the thumbnail and clicking on it as usual opened the folder to the content. Majority of those seem to be better now and a lot less of them.

None of my custom categories showed up nor did the name of the category itself. When I migrated from 4.7 to 4.8 everything was fine.

Daz has been asking people with that issue to file a support ticket so they can figure out what is going on.

Thanks for mentioning it. I saw that but I had already put on my backup. If I try again and it fails, I'll do that.
