Subject: rendering background picture in iray

Allo

is it possible that a picture loaded in environnement pane in DAZstudio 4,9 cannot be rendered in Iray ?

I have this bar composition and throught the windows i want to see the urban landscape i have put on environement pane but noting is renderred Just white throught the windows thanks

You could put the image on a plane sized to the correct ratio and sit it behind all your prop/scene which you will be able to physically see in the preview window to line it up lookin good. I think once you click on the use sky and dome the environment background in Daz will be ignored.

In the Environment pane set type to backdrop, and add an image to background. Note the Backdrop appears in front of either an HDRI map or the sun sky even with draw dome on, but does not block the light from the HDRI.
