Subject: Rendering Problem

Hello. I'm using Poser Pro 11 with Firefly and a V4 character called Titania with one Area Light, rendering at 2000x1500. Could someone tell me why the black lines appear on the neck and under the arm, as well as other places? I... think... all of the render settings are the default settings except maybe it's set to smooth polygons.

Hi !

I think it's your shader.

What happens if you try with another skin?

that effect is generally because the displacement is too strong.

I did try a different texture and had the same issue. I don't know enough about shaders to experiment with that. Like, I don't know if the shader can be replaced with another one or if it has settings, and don't know where to find the shader or settings. I did find a setting for displacement and it just had a question map by it with apparently no displacement map. The good news is after starting over and rebuilding the character from the default Victoria 4, the rebuilt character doesn't have this issue. So I thank you both for trying to help me, and one way or another the problem was solved. I just may never know what went wrong...

I'm glad you have a fix if not an answer!!!

Happy rendering!
