Hi,

  • I have some stockings that are created with the layered image editor. *They are black stockings but render red in Iray. *Any help would be appreciated. *Cheerio *lululee

Looks like the translucency on the skin is overpowering the image used for the hose.

Hi LaurieA, Do you know how I would fix that? Cheerio lululee

You can try deleting the image used for the hose from the translucency by adding it to the translucency weight on that chip. Or a black and white version of the hose image.

A couple of other options would be to use a geometry shell and put your hose on that instead of on the figure itself.

This has the added advantage of giving your stockings a little thickness, depending on your offset.

Another way to do this, for Iray, is to use a decal. :)
