Hey all; (a) Can you put the studio into an other hard drive ?( put all of the Daz studio into another one) (b) poses from Vicky 1,2 to use on Vicky 7 or genesis 3? ( only Genesis 3,Vicky 7 seem to work ) (3) morphs not enough to fix body parts ,Genesis 2 has a lot of them ,V4,g1f,g2f lot's of adjustments ,can a person transfer them?Possibly re-write them to fit g3f ,v7 ? sorry for the long question process saves space possibly :) Thank's

Oh heck I forgot to give the morphs I am talking about,Dietrying's 182 v4 morphs for Genesis and Genesis 2 redone by Sickleyield. Got them over at sharecg. sorry my bad ;)

Yes, you can install DS on another hard drive, but the second half of your question is vague. If you mean combining more than one DS version together, the answer is no. You can combine the content folders or simply link them to DS.

Poses created for different figures very rarely translate over to one another. Genesis 3 poses work with V7 because V7 is a character of G3F, no difference the figures. There are conversion plugins that can automatically do the pose conversion, but none exist for V1 or V2. Only V4 and Genesis 2.

Morphs not enough to fix body parts, Genesis 2 has a lot of them, V4, G1F, G2F lot's of adjustments, can a person transfer them? Possibly re-write them to fit G3F, V7?

Trying to force morphs to work between different models will not work, differences in mesh will prevent this from happening. However, using Dimension3D's GenX2 plugin will convert morphs between models very efficiently. I am familiar with Sickleyield's Dietrying's 182 morphs, but that plugin only adds more morph options to the figure. It is not intended to fix any existing morphs from other packages.

Probably "fix" is the wrong word to use as you are referring to morph options that were provided free and weren't made to fix anything. There are several products available to give more body options for Genesis 3, but they aren't free. I know thorne has several products for body shapes at DAZ that are made to work with Genesis 3, and the morphs you referred to can be transferred to genesis 3, but they would be based on the genesis 2 or one shape, not genesis 3.

No i didn't imply that you wouldn't pay for stuff, only that there are things presently available and it's not only the morphs you mentioned.

yes I did not mean that, so sorry. Icant find thorne's ? I have a lot of payware things for g3f v7 just some dont adjust the way I need or want,so more work and practice . :)

Thank's I found that if I use V7Hd as opposed to G3f ,things work for the better to me anyway
