Subject: Dawn and Dusk in DAZ

Not getting into the relative merits of them but I am curious if anybody is using Dawn or Dusk in DAZ Studio. I haven't simply because I would need all new wardrobes, morphs, etc, and even if they were slam dunk better than Genesis 3, (which again, I am making no comparison between the two) would be cost prohibitive.

Anyway, I was curious if anybody was using them inside of DAZ.

Hi I have used both in DAZ Studio. Not extensively but on occasion. I have found that clothes (some, not all) from V4 and M4 and Genesis seem to need only a little work to fit.

You are right about the cost to "support" more characters can get prohibitive. I am curious also, about others using Dawn and Dusk in DAZ.

Dawn Dusk and Baby Luna (also The Horse, Big Cat and House Cat from Hivewire) all have a version for Poser and a DS version so they function completely in DS. This does mean that content is sometimes made only for DS or Poser, there are products that support both or at least have a version for both. All Hivewire produced content will work in both.

They work fantastic! I also have free Iray Mats for my new character here in the Marketplace.

I just went to have a look and if you mean your Colette character she is listed as Poser 11 compatible, no mention of DS compatibility, I do see where you mention the free iray mats and I see the renders done in Iray although they are a bit grainy so its a bit difficult to really tell the quality of the Iray settings; but I'm wondering if the morphs work in DS?

Do the clothes made for Dusk or Dawn with DS versions automatically adust to some of the more extreme morphs like a Genesis figure would?

Unfortunately no, if the clothes support the morphs yes but with characters such as 3du's Willow you will probably have problems without some extra work.

Thank you for the quick responce! Are there any tools on the Poser side that accomidate Dusk's clothes to fit his more extreme morphs? Don't really wat to invest the money if they have to go around in speedo shorts all the time;)
