Subject: Converting VWD Sim to Morph

Is it possible to convert the results of a VWD cloth sim to a morph for the same conforming clothing? For example, if I fit some clothing to a G3, then use VWD to do a cloth sim, the result is an "xxxx_VWD" object. Can I then take that "xxxx_VWD" object and make it a morph of the original conforming clothing? I assume that you can't subdivide the cloth in VWD or else the vertices won't match for the morph? And you can't apply a Smoothing Modifier in D|S after you generate the "xxxx_VWD" object (which I like to do to smooth the results)?

Thanks.

Hey, I did it !!!!!!!! Don't ask me what settings I used, I had to try it like 3 times.

Now just to reproduce it :)

Well, I think it's really straight forward if anyone's interested. Do the sim, which generates the _VWD clothing object. Hide everything in the scene but that VWD object, and export as OBJ. Use the default (?) DAZ Studio settings for the OBJ.

Now select the original conforming clothing and open Morph Loader Pro. Select to convert From Daz Studio, and then under Choose Morph Files find the OBJ you just saved with the _VWD object, and then use the defaul settings, and click Accept.

That should put a morph dial under Parameters/Morphs/Morph Loader.

Cool.
