3DOutlaw has come up with a utility that is a must if you are maintaining your content by managing the directory structure of your library. The product is called Runtime Links for DAZ and is available here. This creates DAZ link files of Poser content, so you can call up Poser items from the DAZ side of the house. It works, it's easy to use, it's fast, and it creates really small files as will as pulling across the thumbnail. You can then take the link files, and put them wherever you want. So... you no longer have to remember if that scene you wanted to use was DAZ or Poser, they can be in the same place. If you are saving presets of V4 clothing from autofitting so you don't have to autofit again, you can now move the textures in the same directory as the preset in bulk. This program can do a whole directory and anything under it.
Take a look at it, you'll be glad you did. Now I have a bunch to do this weekend ;) Thanks 3DOutlaw!
