Subject: Stuck in "lookatmyhair"

I hope someone can help me with the "Look At My Hair" free player... I load the Hivewire Cat, apply poses and the materials. I then open the lamh panel, attach the right fur preset, set the hair quantity to 1200000, and the nice long fur shows up in the preview. I now render... and it's back to the default short look. What am I doing wrong?? I know I am missing steps here, but sigh! Anybody?

I think you have to click on the "to OBJ" button before rendering.
