Subject: Parenting two primitives.
What do you mean by moves up and down? Do you mean when the telescope is translated or morphed? How is the telescope section made?
If the telescope uses a morph to change, the easiest way would be to make it all a new single object. Position the second cylinder manually in each position you want, exporting at both positions you want. Re-import the obj and then load the second position as a morph.

For some reason I cannot parent these two lots of primitives together and have them move up and down together. Any help appreciated.Cheers
