Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 1:16 pm)
Boni, that looks like a screencap of a figures library, which should be alphabetical order. Runtimes that get added get listed in order of addition, but in our libraries (figure, pose, etc) the folders are alphabetical.
However, I remember reading something about Macs and Runtime sorting order over at the Smith Micro forums, something about the way they list things has changed. I don't know if this has anything to do with your scenario, but you can see the posts I'm referring to here (specifically by anomalaus and bagginsbill).

Here's the response I got from Smith-Micro, but I can't find the file they're talking about.
You need to change the option in the Poser Preference for the Library using a Text Editor. The Poser Preferences is located at Mac “~/Library/Application Support/Poser Pro/11/Poser Prefs”
Open the file using a Text Editor and locate the line LIB_ITEMS_SERVER_SORT Setting it to 1 from 0 should fix the issue.

I just upgraded my Mac to Mojave and when I opened up Poser Pro 11 all the items in my libraries were listed in some random order (no longer alphabetical. I looked in the Runtime folder (in Finder) and everything there was still in the right order. But the Poser library has some new weird order that doesn't make sense. Any ideas how to fix this?
