Unless the gallery mods are asleep at the wheel there should be nothing more than artistic nudity. Sometimes, that definition is pushed a little toward what some may call "gentle erotica" but anything pornographic is removed quickly, and the person responsible taken down an alley and given a good slapping around.

I guess there are some people who regard any form of nudity as pornographic but that's - as they say in Tinga Tinga - a whole nother story.

Any road up, if you're seeing norks, butts and various other nether regions when you don't want to do so, it's possible to alter your account preferences to block 'em.

That only works if they mark it for nudity. People forget. And the filters don't work for your activity feed. If you follow someone and they post nudity, it will show up.

Ah. Well, maybe a bit of education for those who don't flag it would be in order. A big stick usually works wonders, I find.

It could also work on the ones who coded for the activity feeds. You know, just as an incentive.

I haven't seen anything porny on the site. If you see any and it's well crafted, I'd like to see it, too.

FYI, I just looked through the first 4 pages of the Poser gallery and there's about a dozen pictures of women with their norks out, around 3 fully nude and several wearing stuff you could describe as "draughty". Not seeing owt you could describe as pornographic.

Not verboten any more. There are warning tags for language, violence and nudity. Naturally, must be careful not to actually violate TOS.

Well there you go, then. Never needed to be careful about violating the TOS. It's really not difficult to stick to but way back when I was on gallery duty, I was amazed how many people either couldn't read, couldn't understand or just didn't care.

Naked children is enforced violation and posts will be deleted. That's what I've seen.

well personally i don't care if there's nudity or not in thumbnails... tho i can understand and accept that some people don't want to see that. however... it really made my skin crawl (and actually close the tab) as i saw a gallery where half of the thumbnails were this huge, stupid, ugly, annoying wannabe funny smiley... not sure if it's the "official" rendo neutral thumbnail - in which case they really should change it ASAP - or the artist's own choice or even creation (in which case they also should change it, lol).

i just kinda came back to rendo, intended to visit galleries, was super glad to see there's a new male model genre... and then what, gallery flooding with clones of the same meh subject or pseudo art uploaded for points, smiley overkill as mentioned above... it deflated my motivation to peek at galleries very fast, and i'm really not keen on seeing my own stuff lost in the middle of this all, so i prolly won't reopen a gallery/upload my stuff again. and it ain't much better in the prime gallery either. giving points for uploads was a good idea but it's being abused. short: i'd rather see more naked pics (even i REALLY don't like chick pics!!!) than pathetic art, smileys, and repetitive clones. because those hurt my sensibilities way more.

haha.. my artistic abilities suck big time, i'm not especially talented or disciplined enough to progress much. and i respect when people just share their art regardless of their talent when they feel like it - taken they still put some work in it... what i can't stand is when people just upload every doodle they produce at an alarming speed without making the slightest effort, usually with awful results, including the flooding of platforms/galleries. this kinda crap has ruined many places for me and i hate it when i have to browse through a ton of *** to see some cool pix - one of the reasons i quit all groups on dArt too. and paying points for any upload just accentuates this. also, i dunno anything about art and artistic snobbery, i'm a total ignorant XDD

short - of course let them do what they want, but at the end of the day, it ruins MY fun to browse galleries...

an unnamed member accused me of posting nudes for views. I went two days with no nudes after my last trip out East. I will have to fix that tomorrow.

I have seem some pictures that cross the line, but the mods remove them quickly
