I am upgrading my laptop today (replacing a 256 GB SSD with a new 2 TB SSD.

CURRENT CONFIGURATION:

• 256 GB SSD is the boot drive with Win 10 (there are almost no apps installed on this drive): My C drive.
• Poser and Runtime (along with almost all of my other apps) are installed on a 1 TB hard drive (7200 rpm): My D drive.

NEW CONFIGURATION & ACTIONS:

• I am cloning the old SSD boot drive to the new SSD, then using software tools to increase the size of the partition (I've done this before on other systems without issue – in fact, Acronis software makes it downright easy!).
• I will then remove the old (small) SSD.
• I will then uninstall Poser Pro 11 from the D drive.
• And then install a fresh copy of Poser Pro 11 onto the new SSD drive.
• I will then copy my old Runtimes over to the new SSD.
• And then I will use the Poser interface to add these new libraries.

I know I need to keep an eye out for my Favorites (don't want to lose them), but is there anything else I need to be mindful of in this scenario? Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!

(Why the move? Increased speed in accessing my assets and hopefully this will fix some issues I've had with the stability of my current Poser installation.)

EDIT TO ORIGINAL POST: I should have said AOMIE Backupper Pro and AOMIE Partition Assistant as the software I used to clone my old C drive over to the new one and then resize it. From start to finish ON JUST THE HARDWARE INSTALL AND THE OS CLONE it took me 45 minutes to finish everything.

Next up, time to install a fresh version of Poser Pro 11 and Daz Studio 4.x.
