You should be able to submit a support ticket HERE OR you can just ask me for help.
Could I ask for some help in acquiring some information? :)
I just found about about the new IP owners and wanted to discover what current Poser users need to do in order to be assured of getting updates using the SM Launcher. But... nuthin'. I couldn't find any "Official" statement from Renderosity on that subject or any thread/page that gives advice on that.
It's worth noting that the SM forums, at least a few years ago when I used to be more active, were prone to spam. Obviously, I was reticent about "registering" at a site that looks like it came out of a MS Frontpage box. I wanted to come here, first...
So, here I am. Hi! :)
What do?
Will the launcher get updated with a new ftp/authentication addy, etc, and all that so current license-holders can continue on using it? New launcher/different update process? Downloads available through one's Renderosity account? And, will the pre-existing licensing conditions be continued or is there going to be a new licensing policy? (I'm getting ready to upgrade everything and will be installing on a new machine, soon. So...)
PS - A noticeable "sticky" with a header notice for current/previous license holders would be advisable as well as a link from the current Press Release/Announcement page to relevant info would be very good to have to avoid befuddled old users with redundant questions, like myself. :)
PPS- If there is one and I just couldn't find it after searching for a bit... Well, I did at least try. ;)
At this point the end-user has nothing "different" to do in the registration or installation process. We have taken over the registration system that was already in place. You install and register as previous.
In the very near future we will be making a statement on how we will proceed with future development and how that will or will the end-user.
Stay tuned.
Check your Renderosity email, as there was a link to an article in it about what Renderosity plans on doing going forward . . . and that last section had me sitting up and taking notice!! ~does a happy little dance~

Thank you for your reply!
At the moment, I'm preparing a new system. I will reinstall Poser on that system for uber-high-power-awesome-3d-stuffs... I don't plan on using my old system or drive, since some guy named Moses wants to use it to right some "rules" or something...
Do I need to do be prepared to do anything different other than using the SM Launcher registration process for the new install? (Not going to run multiple copies, just moving everything to the new system and adding a few pounds of garbage to some e-garbage recycler. :) )
Thanks in advance and good luck to Renderosity/et al on their new acquisition.

Morkonan, I think it would be a good idea to deactivate your copy of poser on the old machine so that you have your full 3 registrations available in future should you need them.
Kind of hoping for a new version release before I'd need another install of P11. :) Though, not a bad idea. Still getting components together, so no rush atm unless Renderosity changes its licensing agreement.

I went to the new Poser Software Support Page. My Smith Micro log in doesn't work anymore. There is no way to register a new account.
(I note we were asked to register new account details at end of March 2019, because I have that record.)
