Any tips for searching the Marketplace? It doesn't seem to work the way I expect it to. I'd like a way to search for Poser products only. It seems like you used to be able to do that pretty easily. Now, if you're looking at a vendor's store, there's a bunch of different options on the sidebar: Poser 6, Poser 10, Poser 2014, etc. Ticking all of them doesn't show you all the Poser products.

There's also some products that don't appear to be usable in Poser without DSON that nevertheless show up if you tick one of the Poser options. And some Poser items that don't show up in the Poser section. For example, Hivewire's dynamic outfit, The Jumper, is currently on top of the La Femme section, but nowhere in sight in the Poser section.

I haven't liked the Marketplace search for a long, long time. All the changes made over the past few years seem to have made it worse.

That would be because the vendor used the La Femme store category and not any Poser store categories. The store picks those up by what was configured in the product page/details. Sometimes some La Femme products don't show in the La Femme section either.

That product isn't a HiveWire product, it's one of HWWO's products, and when I looked at the promo for it, it lists La Femme first, so I would assume the V4 version is just a "fit morph" for V4. That's probably why HWWO set it up that way.

Rendo's old system wasn't flawless but at least you could get somewhere near. Software selection from Poser/Daz or whatever, then pick your category from Clothes/Poses/Scenery/Vehicles etc. Or, browse by vendor. Then they went and "improved" it.

You may still run into a few ads here and there, but there wasn't much I could do about that.

The search works fine if you use the provided filters... just now I put the word car on the top Search bar after selecting marketplace..and the only filter i chose was software POSER.. All the results I got were Poser cars only... then I expanded that search by adding a second filter.. scifi... the new results show just that.. only Poser cars in the scifi category.

So if you choose your filters not all at once but in order.. you're able to come up with perfect results and find what you need.

Poking around some more...if you come in the "front door" of the MP, the Poser only filter is available.

But if you come in through a link from Rosity's blog, directly to an artist's store, the Poser/DS filter isn't available. Just the sidebar, which does have some Poser and DS options, but no easy way to see all the artist's Poser products.
