I have installed the 11.272 update on the 19th, and haven't done anything else since except start up Poser. A few days after the install, I started getting a couple of error messages. I clicked on them and they went away and Poser continued running like nothing had happened. So why am I getting these messages? Here's a screenshot of one of these messages.

File timestamps are stored in the directory structure associated with a folder. The error suggests the permissions on the folder are incorrect. You can test to see if its a Poser or Windows problem by attempting to open the directory in Windows Explorer and see if it generates the same error.

Two things: Windows Explorer doesn't have the same problem, but the file path isn't quite right. There is no Documents folder present, but there IS a Public Documents folder.

Hey Earl I have been getting those errors for a couple of years now. I just ignore them. I get one error when Poser accesses my library for the first time after starting the program and I get the same error a second time when clicking on my Mats library folder. After that no more errors and everything works fine so I've never bothered with it.

That's normal, they are the same folder. Not a windows folder permission issue then. Other thoughts, could changing the library search options help, could the default scene contain a reference to a material that no longer exists - not looking to waste your time, just trying to generate some ideas. .

W10 has a different folder structure for "Users/Public" than older versions of windows, if the devs are still using W7 for instance then they wont have any idea it's been changed, that's probably what's causing that error.

Well, the error window and message are coming up, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the library search and loading at all.
