Subject: Collada or FBX export for Poser 11 does not export surfaces for Props

Hi,

I am using Poser 11 PRO (v11.3.740) and looking into exporting a Poser scene to Ligthwave (2018). (I am considering buying Poser 12 but it seems Fusion is no longer part of the product so I must find another way of importing Poser scenes into LW). I've tried FBX and Collada but both seem to have the same problem: the figures are exported correctly but the surfaces are lost on the props. E.g. I exported the "OliveHair" prop which in Poser has about a dozen of surfaces. After import in LW, it has only one. When I re-import the collada file into Poser (so the one Poser exported itself), I have the same issue: there is just one surface Is this a bug in the collada exported in Poser? Any help much appreciated

This is a bug in Poser. FBX and Collada export of props exports without UV map and materials. I mentioned this when Bondware dropped support for Poser Fusion saying that we could use FBX instead, but that's not true.

I just exported a multi-part Merlin prop set from Poser 12 via FBX and imported to Lightwave 2020. Also tried a figure - Mysthero's CBR1100X - and though it's not perfect (couple of minor textures, reflection maps, missed and the front fork on the cycle is in the wrong position as the figure is not zeroed) - UV's, textures and surfaces are working.
