So what are you asking? The correct way is as installed, assuming you are sending the Data, Runtime, and so on to a content directory and it isn't nested inside another. Are you asking for suggestions on how to organise the content differently? You can do that with categories, or with links if you copy/paste inside the Content Library pane, which would not risk breaking updates.

I am just migrating my content libray to a new computer and I realised that after having a Content Lib for years I never did see where things were actually supposed to go in DAZ. Poser started off with a nice neat set of libs and then DAZ swallowed them, and my Libs are very messy.
Any suggestions on how to sort this mess out? I have looked on the DAZ website but that didn't help.
Yes, I know that if I move things they might break links in already created scenes.
