Subject: Rigid Follower Node attachment rotated oddly in final render

Anybody happen to know what is up with this, the attachment looks OK in preview (even in Iray preview!) but in a full Iray render it gets rotated weirdly:

From what I've been able to discover this is a very old bug (like four years old lol)

the workaround is to unparent the item from the Rigid Follower Node before rendering.
