Oh Yes,
Both menus and custom actions. Then when that didn't work, I would try merging/updating and that would fail too. I had just gotten done with redoing my favorites because it somehow wiped itself clean after a year of not doing it and then my PC went up in flames shortly after. It took me days to complete and now i am starting that process over and I want to do it via script now. At least i can maintain a list of my faves and keep adding it to a script over time so I can run it and know that it will work. Of course, if a script has the power to do that...
I still have my old Disk drives where DAZ is stored but i do not know what files to grab from it to carry over to the new PC - or if that will even work because they are files from the last version of DAZ I was using, 4.16...

Hi all,
Redoing favorites that all of a sudden disappear is not a favorite thing of mine to do...
I've been using DAZ since 2015 and over the years I must have had my favorites in the Script menu disappear inexplicably 10-12 times and it is enraging. My favorites list of stuff I use often is gigantic and redoing it manually makes my stomach get twisted in knots and I cuss up a storm each time.
The backup of the menu never works for me and having it just disappear is a huge workflow obstacle. Since I am rebuilding my DAZ environment from scratch because of the brand new PC it now sits in, I want to write a script that adds a list of various often-used presets to be added to a menu bar so I can just execute the script the next time DAZ chokes on my favorites section again (and it will). Can a script take care of this functionality or do I have to delve into the actual DAZ Studio API to make this work?
Thanks all!
