Subject: Unable to copy multiple keyframes

donload ( ) posted Sat, 04 March 2023 at 9:24 AM · edited Fri, 31 January 2025 at 11:47 PM

I'm using Poser from more than 20 years and I never had this problem.

I can select multiple keyframes but I can't paste the group as I wish. I only get a single keyframe when I paste.

What's wrong with Poser 11?

I have bougth Poser 11 few years ago and never really use animation panel (as I did with 7 and 9 so often).

Can I have missed something ? A parameter locked ?

I want to do a animation test  with a kind of perpetual cycle but I can't find how to copy each cycle in P. 11.

If someone have an idea, this will be appreciated.

Thanks.

An Old user.

This is a design limitation of the Animation palette. If you pick copy off the Edit menu it copies the current body part, not the entire frame. So, just the head or hip or whatever is selected in the pose window. The keyboard method is the only way to copy multiple frames. But, there's another keyboard trick which is much faster for making loops like walk cycles ...

Select the range of keys you want to duplicate. Then [Alt]+Drag them to the new location on the palette. Drop them where you want to loop your animation. Copied and pasted in one action.

Thanks for the trick, I really appreciate your help. That's will be more easy than copy/paste.
