New Poser Users Help F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 04 2:41 pm)
New to Poser? Ask questions here for expert help!
Regrettably, the item you've purchased contains embedded geometry in a prop format. To manipulate individual objects, you must first extract the geometry, rename each object, and then re-import them into Poser. As this function is not native to Poser, and considering the item was created in 2017, support may be unlikely. The only solution is to employ a geometry stripper to separate the object. A free tool is available for download at a specified website. https://www.vanishingpoint.biz/freeitemdetail.asp?FreeItemID=421

Unfortunately, the My Living Room product is a Complete Scene Prop.
To make an object in the scene invisible, you can select the obj materials and reset the Cutout opacity option.

I have this prop of My Living Room that unfortunately seems all one piece. I cannot click on any part in it and do something with it. The roof, for instance, which blocks all those lights from illuminating the room: I cannot touch it alone to make it invisible or not there. I cannot move the piano. I can't use it like this, but there must be some way to control the separate pieces. I wrote the developer, but no answer. Can anyone here solve the enigma?
