interested in making my own props. Can you suggest books or tutorials? All of the books I've seen, (and I work in a bookstore) are pretty lame and none discuss prop creation at all Thanks

It depends on what kind of props you are interested in making. What you are really dealing with here is how well you can use your 3dModeling software. So books that target the software you use is my first suggestion. ScottA

i'm using 3dstudio max 3 and I have rhino if i need it for more nurbs. there doesn't seem to be much in the way of import tools. I can't export a .cr2 file from max. can I?

I think you're confusing file formats. A prop is nothing more than a mesh saved into Poser's library. Poser will then automatically change it to .pp2 file. A .cr2 file is the file that contains all of the properties of a Poser Figure. All of the bending, morphs, material info, etc. is located in them. Only Poser can create a .cr2 file through the process of converting a mesh into a poseable figure. ScottA

you're right of course, I realized it right after i sent it.So all i have to do is save a mesh in the libraries/geometry for it to create a .pp2 file?

Yup
