Subject: Help with realigning origins please...

I bought an item from the store in pz3 format, which includes around 50 separate objects. The problem is that on opening it all the objects are rotated on the X axis -90. When anything is selected and I try to 'drop to floor' it moves on the Z axis instead of Y. I fiddled and farted around for about 30 minutes in the joint editor trying to realign, but nothing worked. I emailed the author and he said he doesn't know how to realign it either. Would someone be kind enough to please explain how to remedy this? I'm pulling my hair out!!!

If the author can send me a cube similarly orientated, contained within a PZ3, I will be happy to look at it. If I can see what to do with that cube I can then tell you how to realign the other items.

Thank you Phil, I'll pass that on.

One possible fix... Exporting the object and re importing it to Poser may fix the orientation. You might have to do it with each seperate object... then again maybe it would work by exporting the entire thing and reimporting it in one step. Wouldn't that be nice? The whole problem fixed in a single step? ha! Ya right. Well it may be worth a shot anyway.

I just might try that, I've tried everything else... ;-) In the meantime the author has sent the cube to Phil - so we'll see.
