Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
Hi there! the problem you're having is normal, unfortunatelly. you would have the same problem with vicki or michael if they were conformed rather than stand alone. if you've ever accidentlly applied a pose to a conformed figure rather than the base figure then you'll know exactlly what I mean... the solution is fairlly easy. 1. you can apply the mat pose prior to conforming. or 2. you can apply the mat pose and then reconform. If you choose the 2nd, then be aware that any tweaking you did to it after the origional conform will be lost, so the best thing to do is if you tweak an element go to object in your pull down menu and lock the actor, this way when you reconform your additional data will not be lost. hope this helps :)
thanks for the compliment, and beleive me, I tried every trick in the book as well as a few not in the book to work around the conforming figure mat pose problem...I guess it'll be my request for poser 5 that poses in general do not physically effect conformed figures in any way other than the way they are supposed to...If you look at the mat pose in text editor you'll see that it in no way tells the figure to change, thats just poser playing games with it :)
