From City of the Lost Children The Fascist Leader of the Techno-Cult prepares another disciple prior to replacing his eye with a tv camera. Poser Mike playing both roles, rendered in Bryce 5, lots of Vol. lights but not a total Volume atmosphere. Some touch ups here and there in Painter 6.

Thanks to you both. I just wanted to add that the biggest part of the challenge is picking something that I can finish before the month is over. This scene wasn't so much my favorite but I knew I could start and complete it in a short amount of time. Originally I was going to go for the wide shot with the auditorium full of techno-minions. So far no one has really gone for the alternate: "How the scene should have gone" aspect (myself included). That was an opportunity that could have yeilded some fun results. cheers

I would have liked to gone with the "what if" type scene myself BUT...kinda fell into the same scenario, wanted to be able to finish what I originally wanted to go with, so I had to scale down my idea. I love gadjets and mechanical type things, so I went with that. I got to come up with this month's challenge in the first place, you would think I would have a time advantage...I still spun my mental wheels for about a week.

I was in the same boat, and the need to get something done --and still feel as though I was trying something new as opposed to just coasting-- pretty well dictated that my scene be a recreation rather than a re-imagining. I had a doozy in mind for a re-imagining, but the scope was beyond my scheduling abilities. I'll tell you what it was... when the deadline's past!
