Subject: It's all Alpha's fault MORE FLOWERS

Well last time I posted flowers it had been suggested that I use a white card to fill out the dark shadows. Well tell me what you think. Bsteph

picture b is more the flowers without distraction. There is more modeling and therefore enough petal detail to give me some sense of shape.

OK his picture was taken at 1:30pm. There was a some cropping for the first picture. I used PaintShop Pro, the second picture is softer because ... actually I think the flower moved. It was suddenly windy when I tried to take the photo. ( It happends to me every time. ) The card was roughly in the lower left ( say 7 or 8:00 - SW - 195 degrees clockwise depending upon how one thinks about things. ) Personally I like the second picture best. The other one is too distracting with the lines. Bsteph

What you mean like bluring the background or getting a couple more cards? How long do you fuss when you take a picture of a flower. I average maybe 5 min. tops. Mostly because the wind starts blowing whenever I think of photographing a flower! Bsteph
