I've had this problem a lot. I rendered this model with a bump map. The top of the wooden side pieces (which are banded by rusty metal) has rendered very dark. If I set bump to zero, it renders the correct color. What am I doing wrong? smerc

I used to see that happen in Poser2, must still be a bug in the Poser code. -JH.

But, this is Bryce 3. I set the area in question to all "white" on the bump map. So it was not "bumpy". But it still does it. Maybe I should set it to gray. smerc

Haven't used B3 much to know, but this also happens with Poser2 bumps. Bumps in general are a pain since they are illusions of rendered light effective at angles. -JH.
