Download my tutorial, it will help you in this. Any modeled object works just about the same and say a mechanical model. Clothes are no different. Break the dress sections up in UV mapper, just like you would an actual model of say the leg. Like the upper thigh area on the dress is one group, the shin is the lower and so on. Only one difference I can see with mechanical models and clothes are the fact that mechanical hardly ever uses the bend option in Poser. SharenAttached Link: http://www.sams3d.com/Tutorial.htm
I sure didn't explain myself very well the first time, so one more time, download my tutorial, then think like this, bring your object into UV Mapper, then make your dress into groups, just like Poser would, the leg of your dress, is broken into say 5 groups, abdomen area one group, next the right thigh, next the right shin, then do a group for the left thigh and then the left shin. OF course I am just giving you an example, you need more groups than that for above the waist. If you ask PhilC who is great at this I am sure they can help you out way better then me. But give it a shot. Sharen PS: Tutorial may help you understand poseable objectsThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible.
