Hi all. My problem is I have the male catsuit or jumpsuit, and I using photoshop and deep paint to make the textures for it. I used UVMapper (Cox's) to make the template and I change it to RGB so I make layers for. Problem is when I make my layer on top the layer is empty and Deep Paint won't read an empty layer I think. I make a layer from the background hoping this will help but it doesn't work. Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanx.

heyas; try making the template a layer that is set to multiply or darken only, over top of a background or base layer that is filled with white. then you can paint on the empty white and see the dark template lines above it.

Deep Paint treats anything imported from Photoshop as a single image, ad disregards layers. When exported back to Photoshop, the layer will be correct, but it doesn't help if you need the stuff below your layer for a guide when painting in Deep Paint. What I do is copy the image and send the copy to Deep Paint, then I put the newly deep painted image on top of my existing image as a new layer. It's a pain in the butt to take the extra steps, but it works.

right, you need to create you layers in deep paint, and then go to photoshop.
