Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 08 12:39 am)
Yes you can. You simply save the texture somewhere on your hard drive then assign the material map to the figure. On the menu bar, go to Render: Materials (I think this is it, I don't have Poser on this computer - it is the last option on the Render menu.) On the upper right part of the box, you can select the body part, and in the middle left part of the box you can indicate the texture map and where it can be found. When you take a look at the screen, you see it's pretty easy to figure out.
Carroly! It was meant in good taste, hence the reason i was acknowledged the fact that there where boh men and women making great art. So, chill out and stop being so argumentative hey? If your getting that stressed outr with poser that you feel the need to post silly replies to peoples genuine call for help then i suggest you take up stamp collecting or train spotting. :) Cya

OK! Heres what i fail to see, and any answers would be really appreciated....as usual :) I am curtrently using poser4 and mimic to create "talking Heads" to act as ivatars in romotiona CD-ROM's yeh? BUT icant see to figure something out! When i add a texture to say....erm....the hair for example and then i render it it looks fine BUT whn i then try and create a series of keyframes to make an animation it loses that texture. Maybe im just not understand asis should, but its really really hard to learn i think :O( I want to be a master and i want it now (stamps his feet). 2 - Lets supposing im using "Posette"/ Nude female and ive creted a pose that im happy with yeh? Ok, what i want to do now is somehow create my own texture so that i can paint onto her body or smething and then make an animation out of it which obvioulsy has that texture throughout. How do i access the texture file so that i can export it into Photoshop, paint my own colours etc onto it and then re-import it back into Poser and apply it. I seem to be posting a few questions on here recently and i just hope nobody gets sick of me! Sorry to be a pain anyway..........but thanks to all those who take the time out to reply and stuff, itsd great :) Ive used forumns before, and at the risk of sounding like a right muppet.....this one is slighlty different, everyone actually wants to help you if they can.......fantastic....many thanks! :O)
