Is it possible to animate runing water in PoserPro? If so, were do I start and is there a tutorial around? I do have use to other programs that I think could work. Thanks exec

I really don't know about Poser Pro........mostly because things came up in my life and I couldn't spend the money for it......but.......if you have "Bryce" maybe this tutorial will give you some ideas. I think perhaps, with a few modifications.....it may work for/with other programs too. (: Use your imagination...you never know what you may come up with. Genny

Here's an idea that might get you started, based on a trick I've used in animating water and air flow directly in Windows (with C++ programming.) Set up a river as a "conveyor belt" or "caterpillar tread" made of many thin rectangular segments, with only the top side of the "belt" visible. (The backward-moving return happens below the visible screen.) Use Python to alter the height of each segment, using sinusoidal and random values added together, and also to move the belt steadily forward.

Poser has a wave deformer that can animate ripples in water. Almost everyone knows about Magnets but no one uses the wave deformer. So you don't have to have PPP. Check out the free Volumetric Water at Dacorts site link below. Also look at the 3D Worlds available in the store. They have a pond. I do agree with Ockham that Bryce is a better option. Sometimes you have to use what you have. http://www.thegrc.com/portal/modules.php?op=modload&name=FreeStuff&file=index&do=showgall&gid=5&offset=12
