So I purchase this poser pro pack ,and even did overnight. I get it and it replaced poser 4, and I started it. Asks for a serial number I enter it in. every time it says invalid number and poser 4 is now screwed. caps lock or not everthing about this pro pack does not work, and now poser 4 itself is destroyed. any clue on how to correct this. curious labs does not repspond.

From what I have heard, Curious Labs keeps a running database of serial numbers that have been known to be found in warez versions of Poser and Pro Pack. Are you sure your copy of Poser is legal? Otherwise, wait. Curious Labs is very good at getting back to customers with problems.

I've seen several reports of others with serial number problems. Talking to Curious Labs on the phone, one of their tech folk mentioned there may be a problem with the validation algorythm (their own database was rejecting my serialnumber, which I had cut-&-pasted from an email they'd sent to me. They acknowleged it was good, but their database wouldn't accept it). Only thing that helped me was to call them directly. Phone number is on their web site. Good Luck!

Well I hope my poser is not any wazes since i bought it. I will take your advice and just call them directly. I just hate having to look at that cd and not being able to start playing with it. (lol)

I had a problem with my serial number (lost the original), but I sent them a copy of the original disks (via fax) and they sent me a new serial number the same day. You do need to talk to someone in support, though... (I agree, this can be a pain)

The Curious Labs support area on their web site has a tech form. Enter the number the number in question and system specs. They can check the validity of the number an respond accordingly.

Yep I just filled out that form when I had the trouble. I can't seem to find thier direct number to call them. Still can't use the propack or even poser 4 for that matter I really didnt want to have to re-install since I wanted to use the peo pack.
