Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 1:16 pm)
I had this problem once before. I was importing 3DS files into a poser scene, and exporting the whole shooting match as as obj, and imported into bryce and it crashed. I exported everything one piece at a time until I found the culprit, it was a length of chain, left it out, and rebuilt the scene in bryce without it. Since then I discovered that I can get around this if i save any imported 3ds stuff to the poser library, before building the scene. If everything comes from the poser library I don't have this kind of problem exporting as an obj, even the length of chain that bollixed me up before.

Im haveing a problem when i export a object as 3ds from poser then try to import it to poser I get a 'bad media' error?? when I try it as a .obj it fails on importing as well, sometimes crashing Bryce. Ive tried the same thing with 2 diferant objects and the same thing. One is loaded to Poser as a Prop the other as a character. As there both doing the same thing Im pretty sure its something Im Doing or Not doing in the export process from poser, Using poser 4 updated and Bryce 4 updated. Any help much appriciated Im going bald from pulling my hair out LOL Thx :)
