Thanks folks. There's actually not a whole lotta pshop here. ISO200, 1/90 at f/5.6, handheld with 28-135 IS at 95 mm. It is contrast masked, with levels adjusted on both layers. Background has had curves adjusted somewhat. It's been sharpened and cropped a bit. Oh I think I used a new action to settle down the noise, which is considerable at ISO200. There was nothing done to this image that wasn't done to all of it, and it is all one image. I never thought about it before, but I.m guessing that the mechanical behavior of water IS fractal. That's probably what attracts me so much... I did all of it to make it look like what I remember, but punchier. I am wondering if it is too contrasty now? Phrankpower, who are the Bryce people? Sue
Yes JordyArt, I remember MaxHeadRoom, very funny show, even got a few on tape...don't know about a connection with Bryce though!...(but MaxHeadRoom was the very first virtual CG character, to my knowledge..) Alpha, you can smack ME upside the head with a Dictionary if I ever make too much of a habit of it! (Lecturing that is...OH ~ unless I was being paid!)
