just thought id show how i use bandsaw in a controlled way ! and one way to control vertice lines this should work in almost all apps just apply the tools that it uses

1 . start with a box like above no biggie!

2 select two poly's and hit the (f) key to flip there normals !

3 . now use band saw on these two flipped poly's

(above pic make sure the enable divide box IS selected !)

it will slice them ! afterwards flip them back to face the correct way and do the same with the two poly's above (lshaped pattern ) 4. delete the poly at the base of the l shped pattern like here use the point tool to selct the three polys to make a tri

now go to add point tool and add a point to the back of the tri on the left side to make it a 4 sided poly

whoooa sorry about the size on that baby !! after you do this just use your point tool to make the other two quads hope you enjoyed this anyone that want sto translat the tools to other programs pleas do
