Yup got the mag, got the disc, now all I gotta do is learn to use it. I boke a cardinal rule in buying it, cos I always said I wouldn't buy mags just for the cover disc, but what the heck, couldn't resist this one.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."

I got it from the Mag too. To be honest, If not for the cover disc I can't think of any reason to buy that Mag. (Even worse for Digit which had Poser3 on the cover disc) But have you found out how to get textures working in Cinema 4D V5 SE? For normal textures you first have to flip the textures upside down with UVmapper. And Transparancies don't seem to work at all. The renderer looks nice, but it won't do much good if you can't get your textures to work properly.... I'm open to suggestions. Marc

There's a magazine behind those CDs? Thought that was just additional packing material! Gerald, is the magazine Cinema4D v5 software a demo? ...or a limited version? How is it restricted? (nearest real computer bookstore is 100Km - long trip for a look-see) :-0

From what I can tell it appears to be the full software and not a demo or limited. I'm very impressed so far.

Sounds worth the trip. Thanks.

Where can you get that magazine? I haven't been able to find it around here :(

Well I got my copy in London just before I came home. Glad I saw it.

Well, that's what I'm trying to find out...I couldn't find it anywhere on the net and was wondering if it is in the US and if it is where I might be able to find it...as in local bookstores or what?
