Hi, Nivek -- It looks great. I really like the detail of the hair barets on the table.... Remembering that one of the ideas of the contest is photo-realism, I'd make a couple suggestions. First off, the beveling on the black and white tiles looks a bit odd -- I think for a more realistic approach, I'd just delete the effort of making the tiles look beveled. Second, I'd think about a slightly different viewing angle for the light source; with the light more or less behind your camera view, we can't see the shadows of the table and plate and such where they connect to the floor and object; this makes things look a little like they're floating. Maybe even put a gel in your light to simulate sunlight coming through blinds. Keep working on it. It's great, and the whole point of any of these contests is to have fun and learn things. - Dex
You could probably get a better bevel on the tiles by using the Tile shader instead of Wires. If you've got eovia's Carrara 1.1, Tile is under the Smart Pack category of shaders. If not, you can download Tile as part of our freeware Shader Pack 1. Good Luck, Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild Freeware and commercial 3D extensions http://digitalcarversguild.com
