OOohh !!! I don't know if you all remember my orange orchard with the trees that would not sink... and I THOUGHT I "over-wrote" the original orchard that I had worked on soooo hard... but I looked in my scene files an noticed this ".bak " file... so in Vue (4) I went to open-file and made it say 'all files' so it would SEE the .bak files.. and chose my missing orchard... and walla!! It's there!!!! I am re-rendering it now as it was meant to be, now that I CAN sink the trees down to the proper trunk height... I have HUNDREDS of oranges I added to the trees, and the ground... I am so happy! It looks like this one will not need much post at all... so when it is done I will bring the link to share! I just wanted others who might not know to know that sometimes Vue will back up a scene file for you when you make changes! :)) learning all the time! Lyne

:) Yeah in File>Options is where the option is to cause Vue to make a .bak file for every scene saved or not. But if you have that enabled, you might want to go through them every now and then and delete the unnecessary ones, becaue those files are huge.
