Fractals F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 21 7:59 pm)
the frame really detracts from the image. i LIKE the image, i DONT like the frame. looks like you were trying for camo or something. If you must use a frame, do something subtle, something that wont take all the attention away from the image. Maybe just a drop shadow would be best if you're wanting a 3D effect.
Well I'm back from tha laundry matt..What???I did my sock's.. Well CW the concept is that one of the most complex and un-imagineable dimentions are created with fractal math.Stuff that we still cant understand/compute. Now.CW take a good look at the super complexity of the fractal. Now I know that anyone will agree that this piece is a very rare piece??What makes it rare if everyone and their brother has a copy of the software that did this???well everyone and their brother didn't create from wonderful thin air the pre-post/pro steps to observe there own error's so one could become more accurate. You and everyone else takes time to communicate with me.look's at what I am showing and tell's me what what they think and see.I love to here any kind of opinion whether or not it may even be in question of the relationship..Now CW I am not thinking that you were asking a special question??Am I??No Well my point is that fractals can be displayed for what they are to??me??... I will brobably do the same thing to a jewelry display"antique". I will go back over the lighting.and put the print on tha wall???...Would a glass cover like a regular picture frame look
no what I was asking was...do you want your focal point to be the frame? or the fractal that's in it? if you want it to be the frame, the the fractal needs to be less interesting. If you want it to be the fractal, the frame needs to be less interesting. One should enhance the other, not compete for attention. So I wanted to know what you intended your actual focus of the composition to be. still do. but your last 2 sentences gave me an idea..how about, instead of putting it in a frame, you put it on the face of a watch, or a broach or a piece of jewelry?
Ooooo---that last one's a neat idea! Myself, I'd scan in an image of a really gorgeous Old Master's type frame from one of my framing catalogs (Graphic Dimensions has a bunch of them--$$$) and apply it to a simple mesh frame. It would look like it escaped from a museum....? And gold leaf would add an antique feel to your display case idea. But I wouldn't put any glass effects over the fractal--make it look more like a richly colored oil painting.....?
Exactaly. One of the major feature's for the pice should be a fresh and thick oil paint;I think that I could superimpose the jpg into a bump and add only one or two more layered bumps and come up with the lavish oil paint"LOOK".. I am so glad that you came up with that..Absolutely no glass. Thanks for the frame leed.I will bring up the antique jewelry case in a few days. I'll finish the pre-post/pro on the piece above. It's possible that I may hunt down a antique womans watch for this piece as well..Thank You Patricia..
