Difficult, Myske, isn't it? The drops have to sit on the leaves and maybe you could create some hanging drops and play more with light:-)

The plants, first couldn't you also apply a material that is kind of shinny to the texture of the leaves, then it might reflect better and the drops if they were made with spheres couldn't you drop them a little more into the leaf to look like it is blended into the plant, or at least sitting on the plant, that is what I would try, but really a nice concept. Good work as usual...Sharen :-)

Thanks, It are speres and I tried to dro them but they fall throug the plantsleaves so had to put them on there by hand. Ill keep working on it. regards Myske

Maybe you shouldn't drop them at all, use the placement coordinates, might help....But either way, it isn't easy I know, so keep trying you will get it and wow us all. Sharen

Wow, you have taken on a big challenge. I would try mapping a procedural to the reflection channel to create some variation in water relection on the leaves themselves. All this in addition to the droplets of course. I agree with Sharen about the placement coordinates, when all else fails math will always save you. Mokba

NOW I realize where math would have been good for. Always hated it And my English is not to good as well. so Im afraid I will never understand the coordinates thingy. ;S thanks again.* Myske

What I would do personally, is actually take the leaf image and edit it to show the water on the leaf itself and then do highlights after mapping that leaf back onto the plant with small spheres of water droplets. That may work better... I'll try a test and see.

LrdSatyr8 ; thats what I tried but ther is no bitmap of the Vue plants , I made an alpha plane with one of the leaves and worked it out in paintshop pro but the seamed dull and colourless. Tomorow is another day. ;)) regards Myske
