I got frustrated while working on some complicated projects, so I decided to go back to basics for a minute and create something that I knew I could do. This is the result. Approximately 30 minutes, all told, including some postwork in Painter adding on the tree roots. Joshua tree was a freebie on my Bryce 4 CD, modelled by Brian Hitney. Just fishing for comments (good or bad). :oD

ooooooh I like this very much.....very goooooood...Sharen:-)..sometimes it is amazing what you can do when you are on a break....:-)

thanks, Sharen. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I shouldn't stick to doing landscapes, seascapes, etc., and leave the more advanced modelling to others more capable than I... (aside-to audience)... and speaking of capable modellers, don't forget to check out the free downloads at SAMS3D... ...but, seriously, your comment really means something to me, coming from someone whose models I've downloaded and taken apart and tried to figure out just how they were made. Someday.....

LOL, so your the one taking them apart....LOL, well your landscape really is quite breath taking. Just a wonderful picture. (thanks for the plug too...) :-) Sharen

lol... taking 'em apart was no problem. But I always end up with left over pieces when I try to put them back together and they never work as well. :o)

FWT: Good - like the tree.(now don't be throwing Sharon's stuff into the lake - if you don't take em apart they are very nice props/objects. I really like that water tower and if I can figure out how to take the top off without breaking it . . . ) nu-be: Sounds to me like FWTempest will be able to create one with all the spare parts.

naw... the only one I ever threw in the lake was the rowboat, forgot to put a poser figure in it, though, so it just floated away. gotta re-download that one and maybe find an anchor to go with it. Hey, I've got all these parts laying around, maybe I can make one....
