Hi everyone does anyone out there know of a good material setting for a thin line (specifically a torus) which will give a nice soft edge and reflect into a metalic texture, but not fade in visibility as the angle of view changes? I have to create a series of magnetic rings around an object for an illustration, which is ok, but as they are viewed face on rather than for an angle- 30 degrees inward- they become totally translucent, which is no use as they have to reflect into the metalic surface of the object which they are surrounding!!! I would be happy for any suggestions! Psychomoose psychomoose@yahoo.com
