Seeking to sooth the emotions of Poser users everywhere, the valiant Renderosibee embarks on a mad, desperate quest to answer the Ultimate Question: does Poser 5 exist? His search has taken him farther than he could ever have imagined, but finally the answer is within his grasp! But will the truth be more than he can handle?

His odyssey at an end, Renderosibee finally reaches out to touch the mythical Poser 5, to possess the knowledge so long denied man and bee, only to disappear in a flash of light. As he vanished, he was heard to say, "My god, it's full of stars!", which we can only assume somehow refers to improved lighting and rendering features.

Jeez:::))) All I want is: Layers in Poser; a light filtering and light masking engine; and a better more flexible Library system. I don't want to see God, I don't even want to meet Hal (letters comming before IBM or not)... Is that so much to ask??? :::))) soon to turn :::((( ??? Go bee go. Bring back that honey. Q

"Oh man, I'm getting nauseous. I haven't felt this bad since that time I browsed Legume's gallery. *sob* ALL I WANTED WAS A BETTER RENDERER! And dynamic cloth with physics. And dynamic strand-based hair. And that new shader system sounded pretty damned good. But what a price! OH, WHAT A PRICE! All this and I still haven't made a single picture! Pushed past the point of exhaustion and losing his grip on reality, the Renderosibee finds himself washed up on the shore of an island in some strange alien sea. In the fading light of the setting sun he can just make out a figure standing before him. The figure lights a lantern and its light reveals a sight that the Renderosibee had long dreamed of but could never have truly imagined: the Poser 5 Nude Woman! He upgraded immediately and they lived happily ever after.

Thanks, all. I like to make the brain damage work FOR me.;) BTW, Hawksdottir, that's just a second water plane moved up to form a "sky". All rendered in Bryce, of course, (sorry Steve;), except for the hastily done star scene, which is purely a 3-minute Photoshop creation. PS: Cool pic, Ron.:)

...for 3 mintues, that's not bad! I just want the real thing. When I lived in Coarsegold, I could see the Milky Way from end to end from my front porch; here in Oakland, surrounded by 6 million people, I'm fortunate to see the major stars, isolated and out of context. :( Thanks for the word about a second water plane... I'll have to try that. Carolly
