Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.

This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.

What you need to deal with OBJ files in 3DSMax is the Habware free OBJ plugins. You can get them here: http://www.habware.at/duck4.htm Look for the OBJ2MAX (Import) and MAX2OBJ (Export) plugins. Here's a tutorial on working with Poser OBJ files in 3DSMax. I just stumbled into it when I was looking for the Habware site. It looks pretty good. http://www.royriggs.com/started.html Enjoy... I currently own Poser4 and I will soon be getting 3ds Max4 (or I might just be patient and wait for 5), and I was reading up on how the two are compatible with eachother but every time I seen both programs together OBJ is always mentioned in there. Im not sure if it is a software I need to purchase/download, or if it is just a file extension I create for a Poser figure before I import it into 3ds Max. And for I all I know I could be totally wrong. Anyways if anyone could help me out with this that would me much appreciated (s/p). Thank You afimisf >Justin< P.S Poser 5 looks amazing
