As much as I'd like to see it out by Siggraph, since that's just in a few weeks (right?), I'm thinking they'll need more time. That won't stop me from hoping though. :) (The hair and the cloth sure do look spiffy, though.)

Steve in his post never put any timescales on when poser5 will be released, he just said there's lots of work still to be done, but by who? the main work is almost certainly done or he'd never have shown us those pictures/movies, so possibly all that really remains is for the polish to be applied, pressing the cd's and printing the manuals will take time, maybe that's what they're waiting for to release that poor program into our evil clutches. It's certainly not going to be out by SIGGRAPH, but the MP listing suggests that CL may have an announcement at SIGGRAPH, with release in the Fall, doesn't it?

lol ok I'm old enough to know who Rod Stewart is too, he did his best work when I was a kid, haven't heard from him much since his health problems tho. Rob ps Hubert Walters? never heard of him, I'll do a search see what I can find.

It could be that Poser 5 will be announced at SIGgraph and be available a month later. There usually isn't much time between the announcement of a new Poser version and when it ships.
