Oh, so you are saying you just change the textures on the program? so you don't make the textures that are initially on the program, right? Sorry, that sort of came to me as a huge surpise, thinking that the person I am talking to created all of the textures for the games, initially. That is pretty cool that you can change textures. I will try it sometime. Talk to you later -Adam
I have PhotoShop 5.5 and Painter 6.0 and I ALWAYS go to PhotoShop when I need to make a mask (even if I'm going to do everything else in Painter). Masks in Painter are horrendous compared to PhotoShop. On the other hand, I almost always do textures in Painter as it does a much better job than PhotoShop (remember my picture on the piece of "wood"?). I also go to Painter when I need a pattern because of it's outstanding pattern capture abilities and the weave generator (which PhotShop doesn't even have). -Jim

We obviously all use Photoshop a lot. But is there something any of you use it for all the time, no matter what?? Something special?? Something different that perhaps we are all missing out on?? Do you always use it for making textures? Or editing pics?? Any good tips and/or hints?? By the way, thank you for all the wonderful help and info that everyone here has provided, it makes this program so much MORE enjoyable when we can share stuff like this ;-)
