Subject: Making a Poser Morph Target - Symmetry possible with an already 2 sided object?

I'm teaching myself Carrara right now. I'm trying to build a Morph Target of an ear design I want to use on a fantasy race. So I take the Poser 4 female and bring in her head into Carrara. Now I'm in the vertex modeller. If I tweak one ear and get what I want, How can I best be assured of symmetry in the other ear? Since I didn't start with a half object duplicating with symmetry doesn't seem like it will do the trick. I'm sitting on and around page 212 of the Carrara manual looking for good ideas. Got any suggestions? :) So far, just the top of the ear. I manually did both sides and am worried they will end up lop sided if I go down this route.

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

arcady, Typically when I am trying to make a model symmetrical I: 1. delete one side 2. select the other side and duplicate with symmetry 3. line them up 4. weld But, Poser expects the facets to be in a particular order so this won't work when creating a morph target. Morph targets will probably be a manual process, though you can check your symmetry by selecting points and seeing if they are the same on both sides. Keep in mind also that most natural things are not perfectly symmetrical and a little variation helps the believability of your model.
