Subject: UV Mapping question

Ok...another newbie question. I opened an object in UV Mapper (not pro) and hit "new uv" and selected "Planar" for one of the parts of the object. (because in the original map, I only had one side to the object, so whatever I painted on the front, would also appear on the back). Now my question is, how do I get this map applied to the object? (told ya it was a newbie question:) Rawn

Just save the model (with a new name, so you don't overwrite the original), then import it into Poser. It will have this new UV mapping applied to it. Hope this helps! :) Sue

Thanx...but... hmm....ok...this model I am using is a robe for michael, but when I import this new model, it no longer bends like the original. Is there some setting that I should use when i export it to keep it functional like it was before? Rawn

in the cr2 for the robe, replace all instances (there should be 2) of the old obj with the new object and then save the cr2 under a new name as well. if you have changed the materials, you need to edit these in the cr2 as well. then bring the robe in from the library using your new cr2 instead of importing the new object. If you havent edited the object in any way except for materials, it should work fine.
