Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 27 5:12 pm)
Got my Poser3 from ComputarArts magazine(UK),so should be the same. The pdf manual is on the disk in the folder named Poser extras. This is a great intro to what Poser is all about. Curious Labs was allowing people to upgrade to Poser4, for I think $129.00 here in the U.S.,as long as you have the seral# that came with the disk. Sorry...no upgrade to Poser5 with that offer.

The manual is in HELP on the top toolbar with Poser4, not sure about vers 3. I have the Computer Arts disc and could email the PDF but not convinced that would be legal??? CA mag says there is an advanced manual download at ....... www.curiouslabs.com/downloads/indexhtml but I'm sure you will find the PDF users manual under HELP ,make sure you have a recent version of Acrobat reader. Tommy.chohole thanks for the offer of the manual I may just take you up on it if all else fails.
tommy I checked out the help section but it wasn't very helpful and didn't contain a link to user guide unfortunatly. I also got the updater and advanced manual from the url you mention, but being completely new to poser I was going to leave that for a while.
As for emailing the manual, you're probably right that it would infringe copyright, its just a shame that Digit mag didn't include it like computer arts did.
Anyhow thanks both for your help so far, I'm sure I'll be back for some more soon.

Hi I hope someone here can help.
I need a copy of the manual/user guide (pdf preferably) for poser 3 which I got free from digit magazine (UK).
I've spent a lot of (work) time searching the web for tutorials etc but they just dont cover the basics.
If you can help, I'd like to here from you, also I hope I haven't bent any guidelines in asking on my first visit.
Thanks Greyzone
